Putteridge entered the Year 5/6 indoor athletics competition held at Inspire Sports Village on the 30^th October.

The Putteridge children had a fantastic day and performed brilliantly throughout !

Mason F, Charlie H, Lucas K, Anderson D, Lincoln S, Ben N, Niall M, Jonathan D, Alfie P, Calum B, David F, Aiden F, Faiq A & Joshua J

During the competition, the Putteridge team had to compete in a variety of different events -

Field:

Speed bounce, standing long jump, standing triple jump, chest push, soft javelin & standing vertical jump

Track:

Obstacle relay, 1 plus 1 lap relay, 2 plus 2 lap relay, 6 lap paarlauf, over/under relay & 4 times 1 lap relay

The Putteridge team performed well in all events, particularly on the track where they managed to win 7 out of the 12 events.

All of the scores from each event were added together and Putteridge finished 5^th overall - which was a fantastic effort !
