SEND Information Report
All schools are required to publish a SEN information report, the contents of which must be updated annually. This report sets out how we as a school meet the needs of all children and gives further details around the support we provide and should include:
- the types of SEND that are provided for
- how we identify children and young people with SEN and how we assess their needs, including how to contact the school SENDCo
- arrangements for consulting parents of children with SEN and involving them in their child's education
- how we work with young people with SEN
- arrangements for assessing and reviewing children's progress towards outcomes
- arrangements for supporting children and young people in moving between phases of education and in preparing for adulthood
- the approach to teaching pupils with SEN
- support for improving emotional and social development and the provision for this
- how the school works with external agencies
Should you have any questions regarding the content of this document, please discuss these with the school SENDCo, Mrs Prowle.
